Description
The True TSSU-48-12D-2-HC prep table is designed for ingredient storage and preparation. It features a top cutout that can hold 12 sixth-size food pans or various other configurations with additional pans and adapter bars (sold separately). A polyethylene cutting board spans the length of the unit, providing ample space for slicing and preparing ingredients.
Constructed with stainless steel for durability, the unit’s cabinet, lid, door, drawer fronts, sides, and top are all built to withstand the demands of a commercial kitchen. The prep table is insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane to maintain cold temperatures and keep warm air out.
The internal temperature can be set between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit using a self-contained capillary tube system and R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. The condensing unit is rear-accessible, making cleaning and maintenance more convenient.
To enhance efficiency and extend the unit’s lifespan, the condensing fan motor features a reverse function that blows debris off the coil for 20 seconds each time the compressor starts. Regular maintenance combined with this feature results in improved energy efficiency and better product temperatures.
