This chef base features refrigerated drawers, allowing you to keep essential ingredients within arm’s reach. Each drawer can hold two full-size food pans that are 4 inches deep (food pans sold separately). For added convenience and space optimization, all drawer handles are recessed, avoiding obstructions in the kitchen aisle.
Maintaining a consistent interior temperature ranging from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit is a breeze with the True TRCB-79. You can easily set, adjust, and monitor the temperature using the digital display. The cooling system relies on R134A refrigerant flowing through capillary tubes and large fans to circulate chilled air evenly throughout the cabinet.
To prevent cold-air leaks and ensure efficient insulation, magnetic gaskets seal the drawers, while foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation reinforces the cabinet’s structure.
