The True TMC-49-DS-SS-HC milk cooler is designed to accommodate 12 standard milk crates, making it suitable for maintaining a low-to-medium supply of milk at temperatures between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Its self-contained refrigeration system utilizes forced air and R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to ensure consistent temperature control. The external digital display allows users to monitor the cabinet temperature, ensuring the contents are held at safe levels. For convenient maintenance, the condensing unit slides out when prompt servicing is required.
The condensing fan motor plays a crucial role by blowing air in a reverse direction for 20 seconds when the unit’s compressor is activated, aiding in keeping the condensing coil clean. A clean coil surface, free from dust and dirt, allows for more efficient cooling over extended periods while using less energy. However, it’s important to note that while this mechanism is beneficial, it should not replace regular maintenance practices.
The interior of the True TMC-49-DS-SS-HC milk cooler is accessible from both sides through two sets of stainless steel doors a drop-front door and a flip-up top door. The stainless steel construction of the interior facilitates easy cleaning, while the steel exterior is finished with a chip-resistant white powder coating for corrosion protection. The unit is insulated with polyurethane foam to effectively retain the cold temperature. Mobility is facilitated by 4-inch castors, with the front castors featuring locking capability to secure the unit in place.
