An air chamber, vent and high heat insulation tech-mat layer make it possible for the work surface top of the unit to withstand up to 500F temperatures without negatively impacting either the surface or the temperature inside the refrigerator. There are also stainless steel corner guards, which prevent very hot pieces of equipment from sliding off the surface. The interior and counter-top of the piece are made of 304 stainless steel, and the exterior is made of 430 stainless steel. Two and a half inches of polyurethane foam help to maintain the necessary chill. The self-contained refrigeration can be simply accessed in a removable side panel. The condenser slides out so that it can be readily cleaned. Environmentally-friendly R-134A refrigerant is used in the system. The air defrost is electrically timed, so it works with your schedule to keep your equipment in optimum condition. Rounded corners and recessed handles give the piece a smooth and modern style. They also have 2 inch of insulation. The drawer frames and pan dividers are made of stainless steel. Low friction slide bearings make it possible for them to open and close effortlessly. Push buttons are supplied for setting and adjusting the temperature range of 33 to 41F. The accuracy of the temperature is monitored by a microchip, and can be verified by a digital display.
